The Berkeley Pit in the Classroom

The Berkeley Pit is one of the most studied pit lakes in the world (See the October 2000 News & Notes article, "Berkeley Pit is the Olympics of Testing Treatment Technology"). As a result, there are many opportunities to use the Berkeley Pit in your classroom as a teaching tool. Contact us and we can help you turn the Berkeley Pit into a research project for your classes.
